About Kathie
I’ve been in the health and wellness profession for over 20 years. My journey began in 2002 when I became a Certified Fitness Trainer—and I’ve never looked back. Early in my career, I discovered a passion for working with older adults while teaching Water Aerobics and Silver Sneakers at the YMCA. This led me to become a Certified Specialist in Older Adult Fitness in 2004. Just two years later, my love for performance training took me into the world of athletics, and I earned my Specialist in Sports Conditioning certification (now Strength and Conditioning) in 2006.
As you can see, I’ve worked with a broad range of fitness levels—from seniors to athletes—and helping others achieve peak health and wellness has become my life’s work. This background has proven incredibly beneficial in corporate wellness, where your team members are at all different stages in their wellness journeys.
I also hold a degree in Psychology from the University of Houston and became a Certified Life Coach in 2002. My work is heavily influenced by my ongoing studies in NLP, sports psychology, and motivation. I combine science-backed strategies with empathy and inspiration to create lasting change.
Today, I’m also a motivational speaker through Toastmasters, where I speak on topics like mindset, motivation, resilience, leadership, and team building. These talks have become an integral part of the corporate wellness programs I design, helping to spark connection and purpose within teams.

I’ve served as a Corporate Wellness Director for over a decade, where I’ve redesigned on-site gyms, led fitness programs, and organized full-scale wellness events—from high-impact Health Fairs to inspiring Wellness Days.
